Glen Dyke, an experienced development executive in projects in both the UK and Australia, joins PlaceChangers in Australia.
Glen brings a wealth of expertise, having successfully acquired and delivered projects in the housing and regeneration sectors. His current project work is as Head of Property Development at MCM (Melbourne City Mission), overseeing the increasing development portfolio of both MCM Housing and Hester Hornbrook Academy in Victoria.
Glen’s extensive experience in collaborative consultation with communities, end users, and stakeholders is critical to achieving excellent long-term outcomes. His deep understanding of the importance of stakeholder engagement aligns perfectly with PlaceChangers' mission to innovate and improve urban development practices.
Glen Dyke said:
“I’m delighted to advise PlaceChangers on their further growth in Australia. I really believe in the platform. It creates a clear and transparent efficiency for stakeholder engagement that helps support and deliver better long-term design and living outcomes for communities and end users. I look forward to working with Seb, Alex and Sheryle.”
Seb Weise (Director, PlaceChangers) noted:
“I look forward to working with Glen in building local capacity to support town planners, architects, and project owners in Victoria. PlaceChangers is intrinsically linked to Australia because Alex Moon, our CTO, grew up in Canberra. While the town planning concerns differ everywhere, we are excited about common challenges, such as the need for affordable, decent homes, involvement in planning new spaces, and more.”
Glen is based in Melbourne and joins PlaceChangers as an advisor at an exciting time as PlaceChangers establishes an initial presence in Australia and New Zealand, for example, through a recent reseller agreement with Xyst for PlaceChangers in New Zealand.
Glen joins our existing Strategic Advisor, Sheryle Moon, who is based in Canberra. This further strengthens the company’s commitment to supporting exceptional regional projects.
PlaceChangers looks forward to the valuable contributions we can all bring as we continue to share expertise and experiences across countries and push the boundaries of urban development and community engagement through PlaceChanger’s digital software tools.
